"This is a wonderful little hotel. Our room was spacious, very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The bed was so comfy! Excellent shower. The whole room felt so nice. All the staff were very friendly, in the morning the owner served breakfast and could not have been a better host. Friendly , welcoming and a great host. The breakfast was delicious too. The hotel is 2 min walk to a beautiful sea front and 2 mins from the town. I cannot recommend this place more."

"I loved it! The room was gorgeous, spacious and just right for my sister and I on my birthday eve. Breakfast was great and I am pleased. I didn’t realise it was above a pub but that wasn’t a problem. Free parking and 10mins drive to city centre. The AC in the room wasn’t functional but there was a back up fan that helped somewhat."

"I stayed 2 nights at the Devonshire Hotel. Staff very polite and helpful. My room was very clean and large. Bed was comfortable. In all a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel."

"The hotel looks like it is about to fall down from the outside. The lift is approx 2ft x 3ft which should be highlighted during booking as a wheelchair only will fit inside. People had prams, pushchairs, walk frames and big suitcases finding the whole thing frustrating. During my stay food ran out of stock. We had an infestation of ants in our room which we just bought some powder from the pound shop. The evening meal which we opted for just one evening was not good value. The staff were...
