"Photos of this place are mainly of larger rooms. I booked a single standard room but ultimately stayed in two different rooms. The first room's bathroom was down a winding staircase from the bedroom. The room itself was very tiny. Because I have arthritis in my leg, I requested a different room. The staff deserve praise for their helpfulness and friendliness in helping me switch rooms.
The second room was larger and bathroom was in the same room (the good). Unfortunately the pillows on the bed...

"Lovely and helpful front staff. Can't beat the location for convenience to the airport - in sight and just a ten minute walk though there is also a free shuttle that runs frequently. Also a convenient bus stop out front for a bus that takes you right into the city for touring (~15 minute bus ride).
Had room service from the hotel restaurant - excellent. Very nice hotel worker delivered the food (he had also lived for a while in my own hometown - Boston, MA!)"

"Beds were very small and hard with a lot of wear to the headboards. Did not sleep well. Upgraded to balcony room, but nowhere to sit, so wad not useful. Food was great for dinner and just marginal for breakfast. Staff was very kind. Decent property, but definitely not luxury and not worth the price."

"Good stay and affordable price. Quick bus ride or easy walk into the center of town.
Request a room away from one of the access points as it could be noisy at night as people were locking or unlocking the access door.
Bathroom could have been slightly better maintained. Hotel unfortunately uses single use plastics for their toiletries."

"This hotel was okay, not great. First of all, there is NO lift/ elevator and there are lots of stairs - good to know in advance. The breakfast was not great - below average. This hotel caters for coach/ bus tours rather than individual travellers. The original room we were put in was not well kept and the replacement room was better but still not great. I would say this is hotel is distinctly average with room for improvement. Not sure that I would stay there again, and we go to Edinburgh nearly...
