Bottles of water are supplied, and you can refill them anytime at reception. Situated on the eastern side of the bay at the edge of 'town', it was quiet and convenient. Navigating the 96 steps to our bungalow was a workout, but you're rewarded with exceptional views. Since we were there in the low season, only tea & toast was available via self-serve for breakfast....

"We booked a "luxury" room by the pool, but it was a nightmare. The bed was infested with bedbugs, and the staff only changed the sheets when we reported it. We asked for a room change and got a regular one on the second floor, with no compensation. Later, we saw the "luxury" room rented out again. "The location was incredible, lush jungle setting, with a real back to basics feel. The bungalow itself was tired and needs a refresh to be good. The staff were super laid back and friendly, like the whole bay area. If you want matching bed linen, hot water, fridge, toiletries and all that, this is not the place for you.
