"It was largely short of stuff considering that many guests in the hotel at the night we stayed. We tried to have a quick dinner but were sold in the hotel restaurant that it was too busy and would take 1-1.5 hours to get food. We were suggested to take room order and delivery. When we called on the phone, we were told that the hotel kitchen was too busy and a message was left to call us back later. They never called! We went to bed without eating any dinner since we had an early flight the next...

"The room was clean, the property grounds were very nicely taken care of. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent along with the wait staff. The breakfast was also very good. The property is in a very nice location from the airport and the hotel shuttle is very convenient. "

"We stayed here for one night before our flight. The location is close to airport, we used the airport shuttle which is convenient and well organized. The room is clean, basic and comfortable. The staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is good. Right next to a shopping mall with restaurants and supermarket which is good for us to relax and enjoy some time."

"You definately need a car for this location unless it’s one night and transit to the airport. Nice wee pool and patio to relax. Didn’t try the breakfast as I was always on the go. Parking is good. However My car received damage ( probably from another vehicle reversing out) Thankfully covered by FULL damage waiver insurance Good for the beaches and airport"

"Generally close to the airport. €7 shuttle to and from airport running every 30 minutes. Room was clean and came with some comfy slippers. I even had a balcony!"

"We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. Everything was immaculate. It sat right on the water, with beautiful ocean views. The staff was so helpful, answering questions and arranged all of our transportation. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the resteraunt on site served the best grilled octopus we have ever had. We only stayed one night but I want to stay much longer. It was the perfect spot to stay before a cruise, I wish we had more time to enjoy this beautiful hotel."

"From our pick up at the airport (provided by hotel) to our drop off at the cruise port, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and our room was well kept and clean. We loved our stay at Hotel Traiano and will recommend to our friends cruising out of Civitavecchia."

"I would never recommend this property. There was white Pierre all over the room, looks like it was meant to control some bug problem. Our couch didn’t not shut and we didn’t need a second bed. The shower leaked all over the floor and the shower handle broke. The only positive was it was close to the airport but it sounded like the airplanes were going to land in the room."
