The room was clean and I loved the bed- very comfortable with great linens, pillows and the best blanket I’ve had at a hotel and I have been to nice properties. It came in handy because the room was cool. The cable was also good and the bathroom had a lighted mirror. "

"We did the 2 queen bed room with 3 adults and it was spacious and comfortable. Air conditioning was great, hot water, good TV. Beds were fairly comfortable and room was quiet from street noises. Common spaces are fabulous with free coffee, tea, cold water, sunscreen, aloe, lotion and comfortable seating areas. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Decanter Hotel. It was very close to everything in Old San Juan, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They really went out of their way to help us feel right at home and made great recommendations for things for us to do and restaurants to eat at during the holidays. The hotel was a traditional feeling hotel. Our room was big and had a wonderful balcony overlooking the street. It was a great space! We definitely recommend the Decanter for a wonderful...

Check in was seamless I was a bit worried because I didn’t land on the island until after midnight and they do not have a 24hr front desk staff but I had no issues using the codes provided via email to check in. One thing to note is they do not have an elevator so beware… I’d say to ensure that you request a room on the first floor when booking if you have heavy luggage.
