"This was my third stay at The Cherry Tree and it is rapidly becoming my go-to when I need to stay over near Harwell. It is very conveniently located, the rooms are clean and surprisingly large. The pub itself has some atmosphere and the staff has always been really friendly. Amenities are basic as you would expect, but I think they provide really decent value for money."

"I booked this room last minute as I was let down by a booking at another hotel where the hotel was closed when I got there! A room was ready when I arrived minutes later. The hotel has a lot of character and the quick continental breakfast was just what I needed when I was working. What made this place stand out was all the staff were super friendly and helpful. So much so that when silly me left my credit card at the counter when I was leaving they very kindly posted it back to my home address which saved a lot of faff cancelling my old card. Beautifully furnished rooms, amazing staff and service and fantastic atmosphere, and Blewbury is beautiful. The Ukrainian menu has to be tried! We loved also that the dog was as welcome as we were."

"This place was a dump. It smelled if sewage and the owner/manager was rude and arrogant. He sent an invoice for GBP20 for an early check-in, we were there an hour early, he gave us the key and never said a thing; good luck with that !!!. The menu was pathetic. We didn't eat there at all. Horrible experience. The room was very clean as was the bathroom, but the sewage smell was unbearable. Never again, whoever owns this place needs a new manager, if the manager is the owner this place can't possibly last long. "
