"What a lovely stay. You feel like a local entering your own home with the authentic Roman wooden door leading to the courtyard, marble steps and an old elevator. We had the view of St Peter's and were steps away from everything. We even managed to go to the Ostia Mare beach by bus and train and it was extremely easy. Travelling with my daughter we felt very safe in this area even at night. It is situated at the corner of a pedestrian street and is always full of life filled with great restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend Consoli Romani Vatican Rooms. It is not your usual hotel that you see the front desk all the time however they communicate through WhatsApp and are very efficient in answering back. We also loved that we continuously saw the gentleman from the Consoli Romani Vatican Rooms that served us upon our arrival. Day and night he was around having a coffee and would make certain to greet us. Oh and the price is perfect considering you are saving on transportation. I highly recommend this hotel for young ladies and families since they have bigger rooms. Will definitely come back here and recommend to my close ones. Mary from Montreal, Canada"
"If you go, make sure to book the Jr suite which are absolutely amazing! The staff was incredible, especially Danielle, as he helped us in every way at check-in. A special property and best location ever!"
"This is a very nice hotel. The rooms were very small and being two women travelling together the beds were too close together. This was made up for with the rooftop terrace. It was a lovely place to sit and admire the night time view of St Peters Dome.
A lovely view. from terrace. I would stay here again."
"The evening staff was super nice, the young lady and the gentleman were awesome especially the young lady. I stayed there July 9-12. The hotel is not my standard. I am used to different brands. The bathroom is really small. But it could be just how Italy hotel room is. This is my first time in Rome. The room was cleaned. The bathroom was clean. But the shower drain was clogged. Shower is most important thing when I travel. Overall, if you are OK with best Western brand that is recommend that you say there. But not for me."
