"Hotel itself is tired and quite run down, needs a large scale renovation. Room was clean but as with wider hotel is very dated. Hotel breakfast was poor. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Easy and free parking was a good benefit. Easy to access location wise. "

"The room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, we really didn't like the Pub and Grill - small, crowded and very noisy - the football being shown on every vertical surface was embellished with loud and annoying music. We decided to eat in our room - which had its own contribution to add. The only way to order was via an app - which didn't work. As there are no phones in the rooms ( and no phone number provided to reach reception), I had to stand in the hallway to use one of the few...

"Stain on carpet and sheets after room was “cleaned”, no fridge, other than that room was spacious and relaxing. No smart TV and no access to the back for a firestick so stuck with free view channels "

"Room was basic and needed a good clean and Fresh paint. In fact the whole place needs to be modernised and freshened up entirely, continental breakfast can not replace a fry up"

"The property had helpful staff, and our room was large and clean,we expected breakfast but were told the earliest we could have breakfast was 9.00am not anything earlier. We wanted to be away by 8.30 .so this wa# not ideal. The whole place needed a good clean especially on the bar."

"We stayed at Stanton Manor for one night - the hotel is beautiful in a lovely setting. The room had everything we needed, we didn't have dinner but did have a drink in the bar, and then breakfast had a great selection too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will stay again if we are needing to be in the area."

"In a lovely historic building set within pleasant grounds, especially as the wisteria was in flower. Very helpful staff, lovely room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perhaps a little disappointing- dry basic with little choice of healthy cereal or cooked food if you are vegetarian. Overall very good though."

"This charming Inn was just what we wanted, old world charm mixed with great accommodations. The food from breakfast to dinner was wonderful. The garden area was equally warm and inviting."
