"Everythign was great! Breakfast was a perk!"

"Front desk said we would get our room early, but later on another staff member said we won't because they are doing deep cleaning. We ended up going into our room and there was hair on the bathroom floor and shower. Other than that, rest of the room was clean. Staff is terrible. We asked for a late check out and whoever we spoke to on the phone said it was alright only if we pay the additional $79 fee. Later on, after an hour passed from regular check out time, staff called our room and was asking why we were still there. She was claiming that we were lying about someone telling us we can do a late check out... like how would we know about the $79 fee then? Eventually let us stay until 1pm. We also got ID'd by security right when we stepped into the hotel on our second night there. Keep in mind no one else did who was walking in. We were just casually walking towards the elevators to get to our room. A little weird if we are not trying to play at the casino. "

"Mold all over the bathroom walls and ceiling and “other” stains on the lower portions of the walls. Also, when requesting for a late check out, we were told that we have to ask in the morning because the decision maker wasn’t there in the middle of the day, the day prior to departure. Then when we called the following morning to request it, instead of saying something like, “that is possible, and there’s a fee” she literally said, “it’s going to cost you.” Weird! it turns out that it’s only $100 an hour and we needed one extra hour. So we paid it. But that was just weird."

"We visited for one night during Coachella weekend, so there was definitely a “Coachella tax,” but the property still felt calm, well-managed, and upscale. This was a family/work trip, and we chose the hotel for the kid-friendly water features (ages 8 and 3). The room was dated but very clean—I could tell by how clean my kids’ feet stayed after running around barefoot. The king room had a pull-out couch, a big plus. The hotel accommodated our request for a ground-floor room with easy access to the main areas. Being able to walk from our patio to the restaurants in about two minutes made things much easier with kids. The “water park” is more of a nice kids pool and splash pad than a full water park, but the kids still had a great time. Poolside service was great. The kids ordered chicken tenders and fries—portions were generous and they enjoyed it. We were excited about the breakfast buffet. Pricing was reasonable for kids, though the food options for adults were not super exciting. What really stood out, though, was the staff—everyone was friendly, patient and accommodating. From the front desk, to restaurant staff, to bellman, to security, to poolside staff - they all offered a level of service made a lasting impression. The only thing that really took the experience down were the several mosquitoes and a moth in the room, possibly due to our room’s proximity to the lake. Had the room been more updated without pests, this would’ve easily been a 5 star stay."
