When we got there I realized my error. I was so worried about having to find another hotel, but they found a room for me and my family and we made do. "We stayed on our last night in Iceland. The rooms are albeit old fashioned, for a 1 night stay, it's decent. There's a restaurant and the breakfast was nice. This is very close to all the great falls around that area and you can see northern lights right above the hotel. We saw northern lights in Vik and here on the second day. It was beautiful and they also have places you can scan and go to watch the Aurora. 2 hours from the international airport. "
"Loved the location of the cottages. So nice to sit on the couch and see a 180 view of the serene grounds. If there is more than 2 people, I would recommend getting 2 cabins. The bathroom is so petite and the upstairs small with steep stairs, I could not imagine more than 2 people in these cabins. That said though, they are really a fun place to stay. "
"This small Inn was located in a lovely setting with a great view of the Westman Islands. The staff were so gracious and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic - especially the mussels and the bread! The spa with hot tub and sauna were terrific. A great experience for the equestrians with trail rides available!
