"I travel to Townsend a couple of times a year to visit GSMNP and have stayed at numerous hotels in that area. This was my first time at The Parkman. Property was clean and staff were efficient. My only complaint was that my room did not have a mini-fridge and microwave. The property is undergoing some renovations and I hope they add mini-fridges and microwaves to all their rooms. The restaurant next door is also under renovation so there is no breakfast offering at the current time."

"We rented cabin number one and it was very nicely appointed and had very warm and comfortable rustic charm to it. Location is excellent. We only stayed two nights but would absolutely stay again when needed."

"The room was clean and check in instructions were easy to follow. Breakfast was delicious each day. Parking was fine but sometimes not enough space to park at the end of the day. Not too much they can do about that. The only thing that was lacking was not enough utensils/plates/bowls etc in the room. The view was amazing and the property provided a great deal of privacy. I would definitely recommmend this location and stay here again."

"Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug."

"The staff were friendly and it was pretty clean. They had a pretty small fridge in the room that could keep very few things. The bathroom was very tiny. The room was fairly clean. Kept finding long black hairs everywhere. It was really hot in the room even when the air was turned to the lowest setting. I would definitely bring my own drinks and snacks while staying here because the vending machine prices were outrageous but over all it was an okay place to stay for a couple nights. The room we...

"The staff is great. You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s in the middle of everything. It’s great for parking. I enjoyed breakfast every morning. My only real complaint was that there was no hot water the last morning I was there. I mean literally none. They were working on it which means at times I had no water at all at times."

"What I didn’t like was that housekeeping did not check in each day for needed fresh up and clean towels. I had to go to the office every day of the four day stay for towels and other needed supplies. Now other than that being said; Hotel was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Nice clean pool. Coffee was excellent along with the breakfast at Reagan Pancake that was provided as part of our stay. 👏 and 😥 sorry to report. Thanks to all."

"The elevator looks to have been broken for a long time. The cleaning trolley was placed at the end of the corridor, almost blocking the way to the door of the stairs. Breakfast is the same every morning. All others are good. Staff are nice and helpful."
