Very clean and modern room with an amazing view. Early morning airport shuttle was easy to book and staff is excellent. Shower had hot water and windows provided great sound proofing from the crowds below. 4 stars for the bed which was rock hard and kept us up all night trying to find a comfortable position.

We stayed on the mezzanine level for four nights in early March and had a fantastic time. The location overlooking the Pantheon is incredible, very central and high-energy. Privacy wasn't great, I would book a higher-floor room next time given the stellar location and overall experience (plus I believe it has a hot tub, which I would have absolutely used.) Opening the windows did allow the smell of cigarette smoke into the room from outside, especially at night. But also the sound of a gentleman singing Pavarotti in the moonlight, which was magical. The staff were incredibly accommodating. I emailed a request before my stay and they made reservations at an exclusive restaurant that only spoke Italian. The included breakfast was served at a restaurant 5 minutes away. The boxed breakfast was provided in our room the night before as promised. Both were adequate to get the day started. The room is spare but includes the basics and again, the location can't be beat. The finishes and fixtures are new and modern. We didn't turn on the TV, and for those with knee challenges, the main floor is up a steep flight of stairs. Whatever you do, don't miss Pizzicheria Romana downstairs for the best meats & cheeses, sandwiches, and pistachio cookies!

This hotel is part of Albergo Abruzzi. It's right near the pantheon, we could see it from the window. there are 20 stairs then you reach the reception. From there on, there is an elevator. Rooms are so well renovated. very spacious and clean. Has everything you need, very comfortable and amazing view on the pantheon and the square from our room on first floor. close to everything, lively neighborhood and windows isolate the noise very well. only downside is breakfast. it's in a restaurant that is 2 minutes walk and we didnt like it.

My stay at the Madonna was amazing! It was really cool to open the window and look over all the people and see the Pantheon. The room was very clean and spacious and the staff was very accomodating. I will definitely book again!

This property is recently renovated and is in immaculate condition. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property is run more like a B&B than a hotel. The location right on the Pantheon square puts you in the middle of most of the sites that tourists want to see and is very walkable. Restaurants in the area were all very nice and lots of gelato places nearby!

Check-in and check-out were complicated, and required coordinating with another hotel in the piazza. Communications and instructions were poor, leaving us frustrated, calling various phone numbers in order to get help. The room itself was beautiful, but there was no natural light. There were two windows with opaque glass; one could be opened onto an internal space filled with scaffolding and various building materials; the other window could not be opened. The jacuzzi in the room functioned very poorly, and depleted the water supply to the bathroom. For over 12 hours, we had no water in the bathroom. The toilet paper was not replenished, and we ran out. The room is large and beautiful, but so new that many details have not been thought through, leaving the client to his own devices. Communication and instructions are insufficient or poor, and we had to learn many things the hard way. Upon leaving the room, and attendant helped us to leave our suitcases in a locked closet, but no one was there to open that closet for us when we wanted to get the suitcases out. We had to wait 15 minutes for someone to show up, calling all kinds of phone numbers for help in the meantime. When we finally got in, and could retrieve our luggage, the front desk person showed us a plaque on the wall containing the correct phone number to call, but no one had showed us this upon check-in.

Best for view & location

We were one of the first guests to stay in the hotel so everyting was new and finished to a high standard. There is no bar or restaurant onsite but a shared seating area with cooking facilities is available. Breakfast was provided at a lovely little restaurant just off the main square perfect to start the day Room has everything you need. Could do with a socket & mirror above the dressing table but only a minor inconvenience. There was no iron in the room as they offer a laundry service but I was supplied with one when i asked. Staff were very pleasant, entry is by key code as reception is manned from 8pm to 4pm only but its sister hotel directly across the square is available 24/7. Location is perfect, walking distance to all major sights. Vatican & the coloseum, the furthest away, is about a 25 min walk or short taxi but the walk is very pleasant through lovely little streets. The hotel is located directly in front of the pantheon and it can get busy with crowds but the triple glazing windows make you forget where you are, not a sound can be heard ensuring a peaceful stay. Lovely location, the view of the pantheon is breathtaking and lots of beautiful restaurants on your door step wirh a lovely atmosphere in the evening. We visited a lot of the neighbourhoods in rome and I would chose this area for convenience everytime, waking up to the the view of such a historic site in Rome is something we will not forget. Area is mostly pedestrianised so very little traffic and noise
