"It was a lovely location at Portishead and close to many things. Due to the hot weather the bedroom was hot even with the window open all night and the fan on."

"Staff were great, room was tidy. Only downside was the breakfast. Wife is gluten free and although the breakfast was labelled really well……they cross contaminated the breakfast items at the server. The chef was really helpful and cooked a separate breakfast but the cross contamination should never had happened in the first place. Putting gluten sausages with bacon to keep warm is a no no."

"We never had a view, we looked out to the back of buildings,which was ok,we dont mind too much, the mattress was shocking, really saggy at the top end on 1 side, we ended up turning the mattress, as it felt like i was sleeping on a hill."

"The location and style is lovely and we had a very spacious and cool room, recently refurbished. Dinner and breakfast were good. We had a nice stay here. The bar and restaurants look out over the sea. Staff were lovely."

"Check in is at 3 pm and they will not allow early check in, even though I emailed the hotel and they said since we flew in over night that the front desk could accommodate that. Waited hours trying to stay awake in lobby. Never again"
