"Fabulous modern Miami themed hotel the beds are super comfortable and Aircon which is very much needed this weekend. Entry via key code which means the same code for the main door and the room door - has someone unlock my room when I was in it. Not very safe and very poor for the money. Would not recommend. "

"For a midweek night away or to be fair anytime away you can’t go wrong with Derby Manor. The rooms are excellent tidy and cleaned. The staff go over and above to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Room was okay although the wooden blinds let light around the edges, and with a security light blazing all-night directly at our room (303), it was difficult to sleep. Room was clean and tidy but no free bottled water, only limited tea & coffee. Full English breakfast, both vegan and meat, were very nice. Car parking a little pricey, on-road parking right outside the hotel is £10 (RingGo 59151) between 9am - 5pm and free outside these hours. No lift so...

"This is an ex Ramanda Encore Hotel and it was better then! The hotel is well overdue complete refurbishment and us very tired and not close being worth what is charged for it. The lift is slow and rattles, the staff are slow to respond to requests. One plus that saved it from disaster was exceptionally effective air condition in the room! Parking also a fair price."

"The property is situated in a quiet setting and just a few minutes walk from the magnificent seafront. "We booked a hotel rather than a just an apartment or room as we were expecting a serviced hotel as a treat and paid accordingly. There is no reception, no bar and no catering other than at the neighbouring property, just a 4 digit number supposedly to open the front door and room, it didn’t allow access to the room, which caused some anxiety.
