"Check in is at 3 pm and they will not allow early check in, even though I emailed the hotel and they said since we flew in over night that the front desk could accommodate that. Waited hours trying to stay awake in lobby. Never again"

"Beautiful hotel! The staff were super helpful and the facilities were perfect. The room was perfect and large. Very well maintained and clean. Personally I would have preferred a little amenities kit in the bathroom and I was slightly disappointed with the breakfast. With a buffet I expected more items on the menu and some of the pastry and hot food tasted quite stale which was disappointing considering the price. Overall, lovely hotel."

"There was no proper bar at the time of my visit, but no matter. I know that this is now all sorted. Great room, plenty of workspace to set up my kit. Comfy bed. Plenty of hanging space. Good sized bathroom. Quiet location. Would recommend."

"This is the most deceptive marketing we have experienced on the Expedia app. The pictures of our room looked nothing like the dilapidated mess we were confronted with, including a peeling and rotting bath panel; excessive mold around the bath, ceiling and walls; a discolored mirror; carpet stains and a missing headboard. "Always like staying at the Mount rooms Staff was very friendly and helpful. I think the rooms could be tidied up a little bit more and maybe some pictures on the wall but always a nice friendly stay. Train station 300m away straight into Cardiff central. Could walk straight onto Barry Island from the hotel in about 20 minutes and you’ve also got the lovely area of the cold knap pebble Beach close by."
