"Excellent location to walk to downtown Bologna. Room was large, clean & had a great shared kitchen area. Could use some better soundproofing between the floors. We were on the 1st floor (1 level above the street), and could hear people walking in their room above us. The only hiccough was there is only limited hours for checkin & the staff was late. The emergency number we were provided was not working. Once the staff arrived everything was sorted out quickly. They were very helpful in...

"On our first visit to Bologna we figured we would stay at the hotel Metropolitan because of its location in the city as it was fairly central to all the interesting areas and gave us a great place to start to explore from. One thing to note is that it is a bit of a walk from the train station, but the walk is nice and is mostly under porticoes which made it much more enjoyable.
