"Beautiful, a real gem of a hotel / restaurant.. The room was immaculate and it felt like it was “brand new”. Plus, the receptionists, restaurant staff and cleaners were lovely and so accommodating… 11 out of 10!! It’s located a 10 second walk from the beach and m parking is free… I’ll be rebooking within the next couple of weeks!! "

"We had a relative we came to visit recommend your hotel. The room was clean and well kept and the breakfast next door in the Beefeater Restaurant offered a large variety of food choices to satisfy all ages."

"Booked the house to stay, 5 months in advance. Had no contact from the owner, so emailed with 1 month until stay date. Was assured everything was fine. They contacted a week and half before stay date to cancel due to routine maintenance. Three hours on the phone to book somewhere else, to be told I had to wait 72 hours before we could rebook. Asked to have my money back and was told 14 days for a refund. Shocking service!"

"We only stayed for one night. We had a really nice steak for dinner which was cooked to perfection. Had a bottle of wine each and took the remainder go the room where we settled down for the evening. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Had a full English breakfast and then sorted ourselves out for a 11am departure. "

"Great location, but overly hot with hard to control heating and a little tired and dated. Access to the large parking area is very tight. Not practical if you drive a 4x4"

"A lovely historic building with comfy and clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, and great food (we are vegetarians and found the food options to be quite unique/interesting and good quality). We were also given a later checkout time due to travel connections, which was hugely appreciated. "
