"Used the hotel as a night stop before an early ferry. It served thus purpose well was clean fidy with an easy check in helpful manager / owner. The hotel is a little dated but tidy and great for our 1 night stay only 15 minutes from either the ferry or eurotunnel."

"Symphatiek b&b hotelletje. Ligging zeer goed om met onze honden te wandelen op de mooie promenade. We hadden 2 kamers op de begane grond (ook om gevraagd bij boeking). Een hele grote familiekamer (fijn met de honden) en een standaard tweepersoons. Allebei mooi ingericht, alleen de kleinere kamer was erg koud en werd niet warm door de kieren in de nog oude kozijnen. De grote was zeer comfortabel. Fijn ook de waterflesjes en mogelijkheid om koffie/thee te zetten. Wij vonden het niet gehorig,...

"Great, friendly welcome and really convenient for the gig we were going too! Little disappointed that they suddenly stopped serving food just when we went down which meant we had try and and find something last minute but other than that it was ideal for our needs. Also.... the fluffiest towels I have ever come across!!"

"Chris who booked us in and then helped us later in the evening was exceptionally lovely. He impressed us all a lot and made us happy. The hotel is ideal for the channel tunnel and close enough to Folkestone to have a little wander around the beautiful coast. The hotel is pet friendly which is great. "We were impressed straight away with how picturesque the hotel and area was, plus everywhere seemed so peaceful. This was then further enhanced thanks to the fabulous staff. "Very walkable to area locations. Historically old but cleanest place I think I have ever stayed. Remember that many places don't have AC and this is one but fans in rooms with full length window open to balcony in our room. Narrow stairway to rooms if that means anything to anyone. Was fine for us. Breakfast was buffet style, tasty and we still had personal attention with refills, etc. Host made sure we had transportation to the cruise port."
