I didn’t realize you had to pay extra to do the slides and I’m pretty sure the cabin was moldy and not very clean. The big pool smelled of urine and the one slide was peeling very badly. I don’t think we will be staying again however, the shuttle service to holiday world was awesome.

Todo bastante bien pero te exigen esperar asta las 3 de la tarde para darte la abitacion no te dejan entrar antes para disfrutar de la instalación los niños y al final estoy pagando el día entero y tengo que entrar a las 3 de la tarde y por la otra parte a las 11 de la mañana tengo que entregar la abitacion y salir de la instalación no puedo disfrutar todo el día es decir de 3 días que pague solo sifrute la instalación 24 horas solo 1 día

Booked the cottage . Loved it. There were a few issues. Stove did not work. Cabinet molding was falling off the very top of the pantry cabinet. One light bulb in the bathroom was burnt out. The TV remote in the bedroom did not work the TV. The sign on the wall asks you to sweep. There was only a dust pan and no broom in the room. These were minor nuisances that needed addressed. The only real annoying one was the TV remote for my granddaughter to relax in bed and watch cartoons and the stove that wasn’t working. Overall the place is a lot of fun and I recommend going. There are several amenities that are wonderful. The staff is friendly and they led us to our cottage so we knew exactly where we were going. I really appreciated that. Thank you.

Best place to stay in the area!

This is the best place to stay in the area! Fun atmosphere w/ other campers...golf carts, events, things to do in the park, a lake, and the water slides were great! Cute cabins, shuttle to Holiday World was extremely convenient. Definitely better than any nearby hotels (have stayed in a couple different hotels in the area and they are yucky). Downsides are minimum 2-night stay and have to bring all linens & most kitchen stuffs but overall this place is a winner.

l don’t want this to be a full on negative review. We did appreciate the shuttle services to and from holiday worlds front gates & the appliances and utensils available in the cabin, as well as the air conditioning in the cabin…but The cleanliness of the cabin was very poor. we pulled the couch over and there were old wrappers, glow sticks, hair balls and more all beneath. I had to wipe the fridge off before placing anything on top, as there was a 1/2 inch of dust. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock and had to be slammed to shut. The cable was static in the bedroom, my husband is a maintenance man and couldn’t fix it because it wasn’t a connection issue, it was the cable wire itself. The mattress’s are probably the worst i have ever slept on! My back and hip were killing me, i tossed and turned all night. The mattress had no give, like sleeping on a plank & it literally sits on top of a plank of wood. They took all of the screening and the screen doors off of the porch. The dishes are washed by the guests, so you have to ensure that they are clean (as some of them were not). & I know it’s a campground so wifi is a luxury, but just a warning not to expect any cell service & the wifi is minimal at best! There are pros and cons & i love the atmosphere, but to pay over 300$ a night for a cabin , i would except a better mattress at best.

There are very few places like Lake Rudolph, and it happens to border the best family owned Park in the United States. Staff is wonderful, it’s a great area, the campground is lively while being family oriented, and the campground has tons of amenities and activities for kids (and adults who refuse to grow up). Thanks Lake Rudolph!

Wonderful experience! The resort has made numerous upgrades since our last stay in 2010. The staff was professional as well as friendly. The cabins were very clean and surprisingly spacious. The property grounds are maintained well and the amenities have expanded. The pool is a nice size (never felt crowded). The splash pad area is somewhat small, but a nice addition. There are water slides for different heights. We enjoyed decorating our rented golf cart for the golf cart parade as well as many activities in the activity center, my granddaughter enjoyed making a tie dye shirt! We will be returning to Lake Rudolph next summer, it was a wonderful experience!

Absolutely loved staying here! Property was clean and beds were comfortable. Location was great and loved all the activities on site!! Only thing for improvement would be to have the cabin slightly better stocked in the kitchen or provide that info when booking. We didn’t know there were no towels or blankets provided. Bare bones on dishes and no large skillet to even cook with. We ended up spending quite a bit of money unnecessarily at Walmart when we could have packed those items. I will still definitely be back and recommend this place to others! I’ll just include that heads up. Beautiful place all around!

For the price, you’d think they would bath and bedroom linens. We had to buy towels and wash clothes. I can’t remember the last time I slept without any type of covering. Very awkward! Also, the they were pretty skimpy on the kitchen supplies. They didn’t have oven mitts, a drying rack or drying towels. Otherwise, they had pretty much everything else.

Cabin was uncomfortable

Our 2 night stay at Sun Outdoor cabins was very uncomfortable. The beds were hard, especially the sofa sleeper, every coil could be felt. There was only a bottom sheet, no cover, no blankets. No towels or wash cloths were provided at all. Soap in the shower did not work. We found many tiny ants in the bathroom, kitchen and on the beds. We really enjoyed Holiday World, but we left after our 2nd day at the park and forfeited the second night because the cabin was so uncomfortable, we were ready to go home.

The property was great! They had two really nice playgrounds for the kids. They also had a nice pool and kiddie pool. Loved that the pool had a large section that was only 3ft deep. My girls didnt even need floats. It was disappointing that the website didnt specify that the on site water park would be closed on friday and sunday. We went to holiday world on Saturday so we never got to play at the water park on site which we were really looking forward to, everything i read said itd be open daily during the summer season but apparently august, one of the hottest months of the year, doesnt count as the summer season. The busses were great and we loved being able to shuttle over to holiday world and shuttle back to our cabin. We got ice cream from the shop down by the pool and it was amazing! It was a HUGE cone and they had SO many flavors to choose from, the peanut butter banana was amazing! The cabins were nice to sleep in but thats about it, the wifi was awful, i couldnt use it to check email or anything because the connection was so poor. We couldnt watch TV at all in the living room due to the poor Wifi. We were able to watch tv in the bedroom that had a tv because it had cable. The only complaint i have is that the floors in the cabin was absolutely disgusting, no telling the last time it was mopped. My girls feet were jet black after walking around for less than 30 mins. I cleaned them thinking maybe they were dirty from outside, nope, jet black again after another 20.

Incredibly friendly staff. I was a little disappointed though with the cleanliness of the sheets, pillows, and pillow cases. I’m a seasoned traveler and have created this habit of stripping the beds and pillows from their sheets so I know I’ve not left any socks, undergarments, or other articles of clothing from my kids or even myself. When I did that here, the cleanliness of the mattress covers and physical pillows, wad noticeably absent. Stains and dirt covered these items in several areas. But hey, it’s a cabin, we’re camping, things get dirty. I just expected a little more for the price I paid. Hopefully this note will convince someone to change the covers and pillows when they become so dirty and stained they should be thrown out. Other than that, the facilities, amenities, and staff were on point. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to come back!!

Clean cabins. Attentive staff. Clean easy to use laundramat. Arcade was nice. So cool they have arts and crafts along with other activities. The kids really loved the pool and water slides! We enjoyed seeing the decorated golf carts each night. Very family friendly campground. 5 stars!!

There are no towels or bedding in the cabins. Talked to several others that stayed in the cabin and they stated they were surprised there were no blankets or towel as well. No place to buy them locally. The only store locally was the dollar store which was sold out of everything. Had to pay extra for the waterslide and slash area. All golf carts were sold out as well. The pool, kitchen were nice. The cabins had good air conditioning.
