"I was put in a ground level room which I was not thrilled about, with twin beds pushed together. I know this is common in Europe, but would have preferred a double. The worst part about the stay however was the overpowering perfume smell that follows you from the lobby to the room. Otherwise the price was reasonable for a hotel room that was literally a 6 minute walk from the front door to the check-in line. The breakfast bar opens at 2am which is a nice touch for travelers. I would stay here...

"We used the breakfast bar and the restaurant the first day. Both were convenient to have, but easy to replace once we explored our nearby options. The Metro was close and we used the shuttle. However leave yourself plenty of time as the shuttle can get backed up during busy hours. We would definitely use the Melia again."

"An incredible stay at the SANA Sesimbra. My room faced the beach, complete with a balcony. The room itself has a gorgeous midcentury modern hardwood bed with nightstand built-ins, and there is a matching built-in wardrobe, giving the space an elevated, timeless vibe. What really blew me away was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. When I believed I had lost my wallet in town after I left Sesimbra, the employees walked to the cafe I had been at to see if anyone had turned one in. Truly...

"Clean room, modern building. Close to the airport and to a metro station. Also just a short walk to the large Oriente train / Metro station where we took a train to Sintra. Clean quiet room, friendly and helpful staff. We had to leave early so didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, which does cost extra "

"This is was a great one night stay before catching a flight home. Easy 20 min drive to the airport. Hotel is right on the water and has an amazing sunset view from the roof. The roof has a bar restaurant and a pool. We were there in March and the pool was heated with a glass roof. We had a room with bunk bed like beds for the kids and they loved it. I think they have a garage, but there was plenty of street parking. The staff were wonderful. I would definitely recommend "

"I had a great stay at the hotel, close to beach and nice areas to go around, cleand with all amenities, excellent staff, if you planning to hang around in the beach area or beaches nearby is a great option, its not so close to Lisbon City, but an 20-25min uber ride and will be ok"

"The hotel is clean. The staff are kind and helpful. The location is only a kilometer from the train station and 100 yards from the hop-on-hop-off bus. Our room was big and we had a nice fridge. On another note, the hotel pumps in a perfume scent that is overwhelming as soon as you come through the doors to enter the lobby. Our room was "overscented" as well, I could taste it. Our room had no natural light. The windows opened into a 7 x 4 courtyard type opening. I felt very claustrophobic. "
