"I just love staying here! It’s the second time I’ve stayed at the Thistle Suites / Royal Garden Apartments and I have to say: staff at the front desk is just amazing. They’re friendly, welcoming and so helpful every time. The location is very convenient and you get everything you need in a few minutes walk. Plus, you can totally tell they’ve remodeled it AND coffee in the lobby was outstanding! This is totally worth the price. Book it. Thanks for a great stay, ladies, see you soon!"

"I never checked in because our key cards did not work. Called the “hotel” about 20 times that night & no one responded. Spent 3 hours on the phone with Expedia & finally got a different hotel that was awesome! Do not book this place if you will have a late check in & by late I mean 8pm. It was ridiculous. To this day a week later no one from the hotel has contacted me."

"We had an overall great stay at Princes Street Suites, with the location being the biggest highlight. The starting point (Stop 1) for all of the hop-on, hop-off bus tours is right outside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing around Edinburgh. The apartment-style accommodations were well equipped, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also appreciated the option for a late checkout, which made our departure much less stressful. "Honestly struggle to provide a positive rating due to the safety concern next to a shelter. Openly want to be sensitive but there was trash and people sleeping in the foyer every night or in tents out front. The place was ok inside as well. On the positive it is close to rail station and city centre."
