"If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....

A few small issues - nothing that can’t be fixed for the next person (tub drain was slow and the bathroom door hinges needed to be oiled). Breakfast was good and having coffee available through the day was a nice bonus. Laundry was a little expensive ($7+ for a single load) but I am thankful it was available. Beds were comfortable and we had good sleep :) There is a nice walking path behind the property, though I suggest walking...

"I made the reservation for my elderly father to stay there for five days. He decided not to go and I spoke with the hotel and Expedia. The hotel will not give me ANY of my dads money back. The reservation was canceled in the second day. Dad tried to talk to the hotel the first night and they wouldn’t even talk to him. He was told to call Expedia. My father is elderly and does not do well with cellphones. I was willing to pay for the first night and a cancellation fee but the hotel won’t...
