"We ended up staying here for a week long visit after encountering challenges with our initial booking through VRBO. When we arrived we were told that Expedia overbooked their property, so they had no rooms even though we had confirmed a booking. We spent hours that night on the phone with Expedia, but ended up having to modify our reservation due to their error. The night team working, Kathy and Ed, were helpful and did what they could. "When we first entered our room we were hit with the smell of cigarettes - no amount of cologne could mask the smell. We asked hotel staff if housekeeping could help us, but we ultimately came back to the room still smelling like cigarettes. There was also a spot on the floor that was constantly wet next to the bed, we had to keep a towel there so our socks wouldn’t get wet. The refrigerator took hours to cool our food/drinks as well."

"I was unsatisfied with my stay. I had to change rooms upon arrival due to finding several roaches in the bathroom. The second room had bigger roaches and the A/C leaked bad which caused a huge puddle on the floor. The scent coming off the elevator to the second floor wasn't appealing either. I don't think I'll ever stay outside of my comfort zone again which is with HGI properties."

"The Hotel was very clean, staff very nice, pet friendly was awesome and we were on main floor with other doggie parents! Pool was nice with clean towels! Breakfast everyday was awesome and saved us money! Hosekeepers and front desk were very nice, including the manager! Hotel did have a washer and dryer on second floor, but we choose to go to laundry mat as didnt want use a major credit card in machines, but little snack shop did sell laundry detergent.
