"Quite booring hotel and there was empty beerbottles under the bed wich tells me the cleaning wasn´t that great. "

"Decent hotel, not as close to Stanstead as initially expected, but there is a very handy regular shuttle bus to and from the airport. Only downside is that the rooms are very noisy, you can definitely hear what sounded like planes taking off well in to the night."

"First room I was issued was very dated and filthy. Stains up the walls and all round in poor condition. I was moved to another room after complaining which was much better, however starting to show its age. Staff however really need to learn how to smile. Unfriendly vibes from all but one team member."

"We visited over Father’s Day and the only disappointing aspect was that a number of items on the menu were unavailable at breakfast. Presumably because of how busy they were but I think they should have been prepared. The room was clean and well equipped. There was sufficient parking. The staff were helpful in the hotel and accommodating when we requested a ground floor room."

"Four-star it is not. Have stayed here many times before but won't be staying here again uless there is a dramatic improvement. Would have hoped, having re-opened after a long closure to paying guests, that basic decor would have been refreshed and standards maintained. Instead, tired decor, worn carpets, a musty smell in corridors, and an expectation of DIY - rooms not cleaned unless requested, no hotel information in room, no water or even glasses in room... "Contaced the front desk twice to say the aircon wasnt working and the room temp was going up, ended at 26c... never had oneone come and look/ fix. Bit as important the tv didn't work either. When your paying £190 for one night and we are in a heatwave not very happy!"

"Well soundproofed hotel with comfortable beds at Luton, good for an impromptu overnight stay. Food and breakfast is well below average for its pricepoint, would recommend to walk over to the terminal to get a better coffee and grub. The lobby and restaurant are airconditioned, the rooms are vented but NOT air conditioned. Staff is very helpfull and friendly."

"It’s a nice vonvenient place to stay, either a mice bar, good food and friendly staff. The breakfasts are really exceptional when you can literally pick what you want and I loved thee choice of eggs. However the rooms are the let down. Somewhat dates, shower with curtains, lovely old sash windows but wobbly and loose which rattle in the wind. Beds are comfortable though and the rooms cleaned every day. It’s a nice older style hotel, pretty comfy, great staff and breakfasts but just a tad dated."

"Wasn’t impressive for a hotel with a respectable name and expect no complimentary bottles of water bottles or anything else. So for the shocking price of a one night stay it was far too expensive. The free breakfast was 3 out 10. Sadly I want be recommending this hotel."

"The hotel is in a great location for me as I used to live in the area and it’s perfect for catching up with friends. It is well away from the road so lovely and quiet and about 30 minute walk to a railway station; fine for me as I had transport. There is plenty of parking though if an event is on, car park space can be limited but they allow parking on grass. The room I stayed in needed updating and because of that needed to be scrupulously clean; unfortunately cobwebs can suggest otherwise....

"Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)"
