"Hot buffet Breakfast would be cold warm due to not being kept hot on the Bain marie servery. Noise was due to building works being carried out directly outside. All staff were polite and courteous but the front of house manager i forget their names (sorry) one was Male and female who were very warm, friendly but also helpful with practical issues about timeframes, access to facilities and concern of taxi arriving which in the end did without a problem but they offered up alternative solution...

"This hostel is exactly the type of hostel that I love to stay in. Very accommodating and friendly staff who have a great wealth of knowledge on Malta. A very clean hostel, the cleaning staff seem to do an amazing job every day. The common areas are ideal for relaxing in after a long day/night in the heat too, very peaceful. Beach/Pool towels were also provided via reception which was a great idea especially as we traveled with just hand luggage. "Can't understand the many negative reviews. you get what you pay for. Great budget hotel in central Sliema. Room was cleaned every day. Fresh towels clean bedding. Good size room. nice big walk in shower. Yes it wasn't perfect. Broken bedside lights. marks on the walls. Blinds needed replacing as they were a bit grotty. If your expecting luxury pay the extra and go elsewhere. If your just after a somewhere to get your head down after a day of exploring Malta can't fault it. Down a quiet side...
