"The hotel itself is looking a bit tired but our room was spotless and clean. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The buffet breakfast was hot and tasty. The location is amazing. Fantastic place to stay if u don't want to spend loads of time in the hotel."

We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good. "This Hotel hit all the spots for our small intimate family wedding for our daughter. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were perfect. The walls in particular were yellow and marked, including hand prints on the walls and mould on the curtains (pictured attached). "Kind of okay, but some of the staff were really bothered if you need anything or ask them a question. At the pub the staff were a bit weird and made us feel not welcomed. Most of them looked very tense and wanted you to get out of their faces quickly. Some of them were good. They should leave more milk bags in the rooms."

"The building is old and dingy. It has a musty odor and carpets are gross. If I had any idea how bad this place was I wouldn’t have stayed there. They also do not have air conditioning in rooms. If I had known that I wouldn’t have stayed there. The only positive thing for me was the bed - it was very comfortable. I booked last minute so unfortunately there weren’t many options."

"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."
