"I stayed 1 night at the lodge Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and nice room. I was booked by Expedia. The only disadvantage with the lodge you are not allowcyo use the solent swimming pool."

"No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26)."

"The hotel was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful! It's really hard to find a dog friendly hotel that are so relaxed about actually bringing dogs! Especially as our puppy is a big boy and sometimes, due to his bread, people are cautious of him. But the hotel were great and didn't make us feel nervous or "in the way" at all. It was a lovely stay."

"Very quaint and clean with a perfect pub attached. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. A bit out of town but still a great location near a park and the river to walk. Train station in Glen Abbey is walkable. It was a bit chilly when we arrived but the room warmed up nicely"

"IT was a fine place, but a disaster with the patron laundry, as it flooded and didn't work and took me hours to get one wash cycle done, I asked for a comp breakfast to make up for it, and they did not oblige. Kind of uncool."

"Out bed was slopped to the centre. I couldn’t breathe because of the dirty carpets. Ugg. I didn’t sleep a wink. We were out in the middle of the night with the rest of guests. Someone was smoking in a room and set off smoke alarms. The fire truck came and we were able to go back in to the bed where I rolled into my husband. So sad because our stay in London Westminster was exceptional."

"Loved the location ,as we spent 2 days at the Royal Naval Shipyards. We could walk there easily. Plenty of places to eat close to the hotel and the lobby was a great place to socialize with our friends whom were also staying at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was hot and plentiful. Would highly recommend"

"Enjoyable two night stay at Esk Vale. Contacted Andy about possible earlier check in, which was no problem & much appreciated. Had a double room en suite with a comfortable bed. Breakast was excellent too, everything cooked to order. Would definitely stay again "
