"I recently stayed at Hotel Lex48 in New York City. While the location was convenient and the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay, the property itself could use some updating. The hotel feels dated, and the rooms would benefit from some renovation. I also noticed that the corners of the room were not as clean as I would have expected. "The gym had five pieces of equipment that were out of service. Three of them had a sign the other two did not. The front dest two of the three rude and not welcoming. All that mattered was we had a clean room. However, when I spend my money I want to have better customer service. Front desk needs to smile and ask if we have any questions and let us know if we need anything ask."

"The hotel was a lower class property with very little investment in the furniture in the room rooms or staff training. I would call it minimalist for New York City."
