Hotel dekat South Day Use Beach

"Adorable place in Dana Point. The decor is extremely well done in an old Spanish mission theme. The staff is very friendly. It was perfect for a quick, affordable escape near the beach. One disappointment was that the walls were super thin and we could hear everything from the next room. Another thing to note for people unfamiliar with the area is that Pacific Coast Highway is in between the hotel and the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"I arrived at 5pm after driving for 6 hours and was informed my room was not ready and that I would need to wait another 20 mins. Upon arrival there was a gentleman in front of me that had no reservation and was given 2 rooms on the spot. A reservation should come before a walkin. My room is my room. "The hotels location is about the only thing it has going for it. The price you have to pay to be in a construction zone is more than it is worth the staff minus the valet staff was something you would expect from a motel 6 and charged the price of staying at a ritz Carlton which I would choose if rather than be placed from one inadiquite room to another. "Went to celebrate my birthday and it was a close walk to the beach. The room was clean and we had fun!"

"We had a really relaxing time at the hotel. The front desk staff was really helpful and nice. The only issue was the thin walls, which caused a difficult time sleeping with loud people nearby. It's an old building, so I don't blame anyone on staff for the issue. I'd just recommend taking a top floor if you are a light sleeper."

"My wife and I had an excellent 2-night stay in unit 3 while visiting San Clemente for our nephew's HS graduation. The unit was perfect for us. Clean, spacious and well appointed. The view and sounds of the surf breaking on the beach was loved. The one and only nuisance was the beach campfire smoke that would blow in with the onshore breeze each night from around 7 to 10:30pm. "This place looks nice on the outside, unfortunately the inside of the rooms needs some work. Our bathroom tub was old and had some mold or black residue and had a smell.The containers of shampoo and conditioner and body wash are nice but ours the conditioner was empty and not a lot of product come out ."

"I contacted the property to let them know the reservation was not placed/ I didnt make it. Crickets. Come to find out, there is no reception/lobby/ anyone on the property and is non refundable. Expedia forwarded and email and havent heard since. Expedia is also 0/10. No help at all!"
