"Made our reservation at 10:40AM. At 4pm they sent a msg they had overbooked (of course AFTER they had already charged us). Nope! They offered a much lesser room at a sister site (same fee). Nope again! Poor poor customer service! Do NOT recommend. They kept us on hold over 30 mins to not even say I’m sorry."
"The room was okay. Pillows very thin. I had tiny bugs in the bathroom which I informed the person in the office. He said he would let his pest control people know. That didn’t help me out any. There is a portable heater provided to make the room warm(er), which seemed odd for a motel/hotel to have."
"Very cute place. The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable, & I loved having my own private balcony. Property also has a little outdoor area where you can get a pint of beer, chill at the fire pits, play ping pong and other games, and listen to live music. Location was perfect, everything within walking distance"
"Beautiful location staff were cordial and pleasant room room was clean facilities were good slippers and bath robe were missing may be they forgot to check otherwise we had wonderful time"
"My husband and I came for Memorial Weekend and this stay was a gem! The room was spacious but cozy and very clean. Check in was super easy and the staff were so helpful and kind our entire stay. It was also extremely close to Heavenly Village area so we could leave into town and come back to our room very conveniently. Our room even had a draw curtain in the middle so if you had multiple families staying in the room, they could use the pull out sofa and still close the curtain for their own privacy from the other side of the room. Overall, this was an amazing stay and we will definitely stay here for our future stays as well!"
"The staff were really helpful and answered any and all questions we had.
I saw the reviews mentioning that the continental breakfast was amazing so we were expecting something great, but sadly were disappointed. It was very limited and the hot food items (scrambled eggs, sausage patties, potatoes) were cold. When we got there it was pretty packed with people, and there wasn’t a staff actively checking if anything needed to be restocked. Mostly everything we wanted was gone so we just left and bought breakfast somewhere else.
Another thing we didn’t know was the access to the lake. You have to pay for a pass ($5 per person) to access a private beach. The private beach is super small and pretty disappointing, but there was access to water activities which we had to pay for, of course.
Overall, the hotel room was a bit small but fine for the price, plus we were there to be outdoors so it didn’t matter as much. The staff were kind, and Heavenly Village was walkable so that was nice. I would probably look for another place to stay next time we come to Lake Tahoe."
