"Lovely room, friendly staff, great sleep!"

"The food was all really nice, rooms could be better, with small changes like additional sockets near the bed and usb sockets for charging phones etc. but I can't fault the staff or the quality of the food. Food & drinks prices were reasonable the breakfasts were good quality and plentiful, dinner had a great selection of options and all generous portions. The bar and restaurant staff were all pleasant and keen to interact with the guests. So in summary change some sockets to usb sockets and you have a solid 10/10 from me. "

"Parking good Breakfast option-overpriced and nothing freshly cooked Would avoid weekends if a wedding party was on as very noisy in hotel rooms adjoining. Restaurant ok but substituted by a meetings room on one day of our visit which was like a mausoleum Heating good to start with but a cold spell whilst there and cold on mornings and evenings Accessibility good - no stairs to speak -there’s a lift as well Staff so so some ok -some less so Wouldn’t stay there again"

"The room was decorated very nicely, but the door for room 8 did not fit the frame very well and light came in all around the door and along the bottom. Also this was not a fire door, which my wife was very concerned about. As we did not check in until after 10pm, the night manager did offer us a different room, but stated all the doors were the same. She was also concerned as the lock did not work. When I booked the room on the confirmation email it did say about some noise, but our room was directly adjacent to the fans for the kitchens and these were running all night. I had a cooked breakfast which was average, my wife had croissants and a fruit salad with yoghurt. The croissants were very nice and there was plenty of jam, but the fruit salad contained several pieces of fruit that were past their best."

"Excellent apart from 2 points, the bath plug didn't fit so we couldn't have a bath and the neighbouring room decided they would have a full scale row at 12 a.m, maybe part of the wedding reception guests from that evening maybe but all in all, we would definitely stay again."

"Lovely staff, all friendly and proud of the Inns History. We were there on a very quiet night! Lovely large room with a 4 poster bed and excellent bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast beat us, freshly prepared as we came down. "
