"The room was all set for our visit. Very clean, comfortable and air conditioner worked. The only reason I would take a star away is because of a brown stain that was at the entrance of the bathroom, I would recommend that they cut out that portion of the carpet and replace. I was just an old stain that they couldn’t be completely removed. I covered it on our visit. The one other problem I have with The Resident Covent Garden was that it has no FOOD in house. My problem, I should have noticed...

The air conditioning did seem to fault after the first night but luckily it was chilly when we went but could be bothersome in warmer temperatures."

"From the moment me and my son stepped foot into the Clermont we were treated so well. The reception staff treated me and my son very well with a free upgrade, free drinks and a clermont teddy and Easter gift for him. They really couldn’t have done enough for us. We checked in early as the room was ready, the room was very clean, big and also very quiet, we slept so well for being in central London and couldn’t hear any outdoor noise. The location was perfect we walked to lots of local landmarks...

The room was clean, all the staff were friendly, particularly the doormen who offered to carry our suitcases, wished us good mornings and opened the doors promptly, as well as being genuinely interested in us as people. The 12th knot rooftop bar was very good too, great views across the Thames. Only criticism is the cost of the minibar and any snacks in the room, would recommend bringing your own. Also an option to opt out of housekeeping for the stay and receive credit to use...
