"I arrived from interstate late at night. I contacted staff after hours and was immediately assisted in accessing the hotel and locating my room tokens from the safe. The staff were most helpful and, as an elderly man travelling alone, I was most impressed by the courteous assistance that I was given."

"Our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by a very unpleasant check-in experience. The front desk lady who checked us in never smiled once and appeared unhappy and unfriendly throughout the entire interaction. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that her attitude seemed noticeably different when serving other Western guests. She was warm and welcoming to them, but cold and dismissive toward us as Asian guests. In addition, several reasonable requests were immediately rejected....

"Did a late-check in which was difficult to organise on the day (search for the hotel for contact details, the number on Expedia just rings out) however after-hours security can get you in with booking number, ID and credit card ($200 deposit). 2-ply toilet paper was really disappointing after the impression the lobby made. Short walk from public transport and amenities. Would recommend if this was cheaper than the $230ish we paid p/night."

"Although the owner was LOVELY. And extremely accommodating and helpful. The first room we stayed in was riddled with cockroaches (4th floor) We told the owner and he was more then happy to move us to a new room which was fine and we only seen 1 cockroach the whole week. It was clear the owner has known about the roach problem for a while but continued to rent the room out…. The room was lovely, sheets were clean, View was beautiful. No complaints there.
