"This hotel is a typical English pub hotel best suited to those with a car. We had requested a ground floor room but were allocated an upstairs room on arrival. However, this was changed by the receptionist and the room we got was fine. It was a good size and looked out on the bar courtyard, fortunately quiet as it was cold and wet outside. The bathroom was fine and bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were good."

"Check in was no frills. We arrived half an hour before check in and was offered a room but for an extra fee. I accidentally booked the room for one person so had to pay an extra £12 for breakfast which was fair enough but on check out an additional £10 for the extra person which I thought was unfair."

"Our room was not as big as expected from the photos and we were overlooking a flat roof with extractor fans continuously on - not so great when we had to have the windows open in the heat and could not get the ac to work. However an extremely helpful receptionist (Jay) gave us a different room a little bit further away which was a little bit bigger and slightly less noisy (thanks Jay 🙂). "Lovely room and facilities but why charge for car park if you’re staying, appreciate it’s near the airport but there must be a way of controlling access without penalising guests who have already paid to stay."

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "
