"The staff there was friendly enough and we had a pretty good stay for the $$$. However there are some aethetics that could be addresses the building needs to be refreshed. Our stay was for 10 days and most days the coffee was cold, no waffle mix or syrup when they did have some. We were really looking forward to having waffles. "Broken elevators, no AC in halls, pool absolute atrocity. Hilton should be ashamed to associate their name with this property. Not even a bathtub, just a shower in room. Will never stay again. Downtown Hilton Capital is the one to beat if you par at the levee. "

"We had another great stay at The Cook. It is so convenient for visiting our daughter on the LSU campus. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. We absolutely love the LSU store across from the main desk. It is a hidden gem for LSU fans. The gentleman who worked there was also extremely kind and helpful. We would recommend staying at The Cook if you’re ever in the area. "
