"The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on things to do. It is a beautiful historic building - which is exactly why we booked it. It’s on a gorgeous tree lined street, close enough to walk to Bourbon Street without being at the center of the craziness at night. And the pool area was wonderful!"

"Our room was in the basement which we did not realize until we arrived. The room itself felt a bit dingy with a hodgepodge of furnishings. The air-conditioning was loud and rattling so much so that we had to turn it off in order to sleep. Fortunately, the heat wasn’t too bad so we were able to deal with it. But in peak summer season, it would’ve been unbearable. There was no one identifiable as a staff person so can’t really comment on the helpfulness of the staff since we never saw anyone. The...

AC quality was amazing, room comes with a microwave and fridge which was a great find and the bathroom was beautifully styled."

"We loved our stay at Mayfair. The one bedroom apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. The fully furnished small kitchen was functional and very practical to prepare breakfast in the modern before going out for the day or for midday snack."

"The room we checked in had broken a/c. They switched to another one with leaking bath tub faucet. Breakfast was nice! Staff were friendly and helpful. The building needs major improvement for sure. Location is great! I hope to comeback to see much improvement."

"Truly enjoyed our stay with our pet dog. It’s beautiful in every corner you look with a stunning bar and restaurant. So close to the French quarter but providing a quiet night’s rest. Will definitely stay here again."

"Staff was super helpful and the location is great! Cafe and Bar attached was great as well. Only thing I would have to say is the cleaning of the rooms was very iffy. There were multiple stains and hairs on pillowcases, towels and bedding from previous stays"

"Very noisy location"

"Everything was really great. The staff was nice, the location was really great, away from the noisy streets but close enough to easily walk to and from popular destinations. However, the only downside of this hotel is how thin the walls are. We would wake up because tvs were so loud and whenever we would pass by other rooms in the hallway we could hear others inside their rooms (privacy issues). Other than that, this place was great. :)"
