"I can honestly say everything was perfect with the room, it was beautiful, clean, all the amenities you needed was there, front of house was well mannered and polite when we arrived. I had requested for room to be decorated alittle special as it was our anniversary, and my request was granted so if you do want to stay somewhere and make it special always ask they are happy to help. "Cold room heating not working properly, hotel knew about this yet sold us the room. Hotel very anti-family with regard to use of pool. Unless you wish to use the pool as a family very early in the morning or in the you have no chance of using pool. Hotel doesn’t tell you this until after check in not at booking. "

"Stayed over New Year and decided to stay and extra night as we felt so comfortable as staff and food were good. Room was a little small for a 'premium ' but adequate. The bar/ lounge is great, lovely fires and a lot of residents brought their dog, the staff engaged with all👍👍. Look forward to seeing how they upgrade the hotel after the January shutdown. We will be back."

"This tiny Inn is definitely worth a visit! The new owners were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean. The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. No food available on the first night, but the owners were happy to recommend and book somewhere for us to eat. Their kitchen was open the second night and the quality was excellent.
