"A very nice hôtel in an old Palace on the seafront, very well situated. We had a great room (the Saïd Sultan) with a nice balcony. Nice breakfast with a large and good choice. A very helpfull desk."

"The room was clean, and housekeeping came by every day to clean and replace the towels. For the first two mornings, there was no hot water early in the morning. After I reported it, they sent a housekeeping staff member to verify the issue before alerting maintenance. "The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is a short walk to the Forodhani Gardens and the former Slave Market. There are several restaurants closeby especially a very popular one Lukmaan. The area around the hotel is bustling in the day and quiet at night. A taxi cannot drive up to this property so you will to do a short walk through the streets to get there. "We loved our stay at Kholle House in Stonetown. The hotel was Beautiful and the perfect escape to after a long day exploring. All The staff was fantastic in helping us get the arrangements prior to arriving and then helping us with a couple of the activities we wanted to do. We highly recommend."

"Extremely slow check in and “room assignments.” Location of bedroom was in a place very noisy all day and all night long. Besides, we had to sleep with the window open (which didn’t help with the noise either) as the smell of the room was very strong (probably a chemical for the mosquitoes). Breakfast was ok. "Accomodatie was goed schoon en redelijk goed onderhouden. Airco zag er miner goed uit kon wel een onderhoudsbeurt gebruiken. Behoorlijk gehorig je hoort alles op de gang en veel van buiten. Zwembad niet klein en niet functioneel. Personeel is erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk."
