"Absolute gem of a B&B near the Minster. I traveled with a friend from the US so she could see York. The B&B is ideally situated a short walk from the city walls and York Minster. It never felt too far to walk back from the city attractions, but it was far enough out of the centre to be quiet and feel safe. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and comfortable. "Don't drive, arrive by train and everything can be walked from here. Vibrant city centre location so can be noisy at night. Room standards vary from the amazing to the basic so worth paying more. 4* as we got a basic room night 1 but then they moved us to amazing room! Food and staff were really 5*."
