"I was having a difficult day when I arrived but then I was greeted so warmly by Darcy and Gemma, they made me feel so welcome that my day turned around instantly! My room was charming and cozy, comfy bed, nice furnishings and a fantastic large old claw foot bath tub. It felt cozy and luxurious at the same time. The location was excellent for walking, restaurants and access to the train station. The breakfast was also great, with plenty to choose from and table service instead of just buffet as...

"I’ve stayed here before, and it’s usually really nice, but during the heat wave the air-conditioning was utterly useless and it was impossible to sleep."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. However there was no remote for the tv and the telephone did not connect to reception. The staff provided us with a remote that did not work so that involved another walk back to reception. A very pleasant member of staff came back with me and ensured a further remote worked. Later on the tv. pixilated and did not work probably due to loose connection which we couldn't fix. Breakfast was very comprehensive and well done."
