"We chose this hotel as it had a restaurant, however on arrival we were told that the restaurant was closed due to a function, but that the bar would be able to provide a meal. We passed the bar on the way to our room & were kindly given a menu to look at. After dropping our luggage we returned to the bar to eat, only to be told that the bar had stopped serving meals due to the function. Externally harassed by homeless couple asking for money on approach to hotel. Parking is in the multi storey station car park, great smell of urine on each entry way! Upside it’s not a long walk to the hotel but I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it if I was alone travelling. Bonus you get reduced parking fees. "Nice location , price and ambiance BUT I had three simple questions when I checked in. The receptionist knew the answer to none of them ( had to check ) : would there be coffee in the morning ? "A cracker of a Inn with rooms plus a Latin American restaurant. We spent two nights here and I'd certainty rate it 10/10. The owner was very personable as were all staff and special mention to the young waitress at breakfast who was spot on 👍 Our room.(No 9) was spacious and had everything you'd expect. "Room was clean and nicely presented. There is significant building work taking place so restaurant not open (which they did pre-warn me about,), and skeleton staff. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. "

"I booked a one night stay at the Dakota as a stop on a way back home in Scotland from France. This was a good accommodation with everything that travelers could require for an one night stay. Room presented to be clean, beds comfortable, towels ready to be used and shower clean too. The only issue I had experienced was with the doors, which presented to be not sound proof, and people leaving other apartments late at night could be heard in the room me and my family occupied."
