"Accommodations"

"Beautifully decorated, very Victorian. Rather like staying in a museum. Mattress was comfortable. Very clean. Front desk check in was lovely. Those were the good bits. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit in the room was horrifically noisy, to the point where we had to turn it off halfway through the night and open the windows instead. To get any kind of breeze, we also had to open the blinds, which meant that the bright exterior lights that stayed in all night lit our room up like...

"It was a welcomed stay as both my husband and I really needed a night away to relax. The property is clean enough and I wouldn't be afraid to stay again, but let's say my house after a clean on Saturday is much cleaner. The owner wasn't going out of her way to accommodate but she was kind. The breakfast however is subpar, scrambled eggs with a heated frozen patty (undercooked) and a can of cocktail fruit in a bowl wasn't what I was hoping for in my bed and breakfast.
