"On arrival we were greeted by the 2 staff on duty and after a short wait (because we arrived early and a room change) we were shown to the room and the breakfast was explained to us as was the after hours procedure. All staff we met were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good, lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the early morning sun. It was also nice to be able to sit outside in the evening The room was clean and we had a fan to help try and keep the room cool...

"A wonderful place to stay. A fantastic old building with so much character and lovely country views. Bedrooms very comfortable with great attention to detail and well thought through. Excellent breakfast and a good menu for dinner - well presented and very tasty. The highlight though were the staff throughout. It's such a pleasure to receive genuine excellent customer service from start to finish. Thank you."

"A lovely stop over with our dog. Room was fine and bed comfy. Ensuite bathroom was also fine and clean. Food in the pub was good and fresh especially the breakfast. Dog given a sausage which he was very greatful for. A perfect stop over in a peaceful location"

"Room was spacious. Restroom was top notch. Overall great hotel. Sauna and Pool were a great plus, only improvement I would suggest is enforcing more control on quantity of people using pool at a time. Went once to use it and it was overcrowded, no point in making reservations if limits ate not enforced. Otherwise, this hotel was absolutely great and would definitely recommend"
