The area was great and we found it easy to navigate around Tokyo with our 8 and 5 year old. Laundry at the hotel and the luggage forwarding service were also a brilliant service."

"We had such an amazing stay at Asakusa Kaede Hotel! The hotel was very clean and comfortable (stayed in the family suite), and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was also really good and a great way to start the day. The location was perfect — just a short walk from Asakusa Station and only a few minutes from Senso-ji Temple. It’s also very close to the covered shopping street, Nakamise Shopping Street, with so many little shops and restaurants...

"Lovely traditional Japanese hotel with Onsen in a delightful area of Asakusa close to Senso-hi Temple. Pyjamas and socks are provided. We had a Superior Queen room with a small sitting area. Kettle and coffee/tea is provided in the room. Great wifi. Laundry room with free washing and drying at minimal charge. Traditional Japanese breakfast and afternoon tea service. "

Die Aussicht aus meinem Zimmer war toll und trotz guter Anbindung und zentraler Asakusa Lage war es ruhig und ich habe von draußen nichts mitbekommen. Kleine minus Punkte: wie oft in Japan ist das Zimmer recht klein. Mit größerem Koffer stellt das eine Herausforderung da. Internet geht meist mit wenigen seltenen Unterbrechungen. "

Right opposite a 7-11 where you could easily get food and snacks, as well as being only metres from the beautiful river you could walk along, made this the perfect place to stay. "Traditional Japanese inn located a stone throw from Senso-ji temple. Our room contained futons and floor seating in the Japanese style and was immaculately clean. Shigetsu offers single gender communal baths which provide amazing views. Staff are helpful, friendly and polite. I strongly recommend this inn. I will stay again if ever in Tokyo."
