"Hotel is supposedly in midst of remodeling, but doesn't seem to be working very quickly. Elevator was out, faucet in bath was extremely loud, towels threadbare, floor in bed area was some time of tile that felt nasty I have stayed here before and seen a gradual decline - I am sad because I liked it so much when we started staying there"

"The desk staff were very kind and informative. The water in the hotel room was very hot, but there was minimum water pressure. The photos on the website make it difficult to see this hotel has outdoor facing rooms, which is unsafe for some travelers. The toilet seat in the bathroom was not secured properly and consistently shifted when using the toilet. The other reviews on the website for this hotel are very good, however, these do not seem consistent with our experience. This hotel is approximately a 20 minutes drive to the beach and very reasonably priced."
