"Vaughan and Sharon are wonderful hosts. They made us feel like valued guests in their B&B (Guesthouse). Our room was the attic twin (top small windows in the picture), so lots of steps in this historic building, with a nice hot shower and views of downtown. The location is great too, right downhill from the Dover Castle and very convenient to shopping and downtown Dover. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a nice option for a vegetarian full English including veggie sausage."

"We had a wonderful stay at Churchill Guest House. This beautiful historic building is full of character, with thoughtful touches that make it feel warm, authentic and truly cared for. Our room was cosy, spacious and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the gentle sound of the seagulls was wonderfully peaceful, and the refurbished bathroom, bathrobes and fan were much appreciated during the warm weather. Alex was a fantastic host, friendly, welcoming and always happy to help...

"very very basic room with mould smell, mattress very cheap, rooms hot and not comfy to stay with family, entertainment not professional and boring specially for kids. Breakfast just nice dining room, can’t believe not basic hash brown really, sausage very cheap and no salat, no fresh fruit.This hotel just good location nothing else. never comeback."

"It's all about the heat if it's warm outside it's very hot in bedroom and doesn't make any difference you sleep over covers still think it's one of the better hotels but could be so much better value on a plus note some staff go over and beyond they will know who they are so I hope it's just a little cooler in hotel next year it ain't designed for 10 nights probably 3 @ best."

"Locatie is top, eigenaresse uiterst vriendelijk en de Sunrise kamer doet haar naam eer, werkelijk heerlijk. Punt van aandacht: badkamer en overall onderhoud kan beter, dit is low hanging fruit en veel zaken zoals kitnaden, voegen etc is easy te perfectioneren. Prijs kwaliteit kan daarom iets beter maar zoals gezegd, low hanging fruit en op een ochtend opgelost. Go for it en dan tot de volgende keer!"
