The Grand Hotel Birmingham

The Grand Hotel Birmingham

8/10 Good
"Beautiful hotel, the recent refurb sparkles and the live music dinner venue is brilliant. Sadly the kettle set off the fire alarm in our room and a guy just burst into the room whilst on a state of undress demanding to know what we had done! No apology, not even from reception when we checked out! Hopefully a one off."

"Nice hotel. Great location. Easy check in. Friendly reception staff. We were given a disabled room (not disabled) but great sized bathroom. A shame the dove soap by one of the sinks was watered down. Disappointing for a 4 star. Good choice at breakfast. Staff a bit keen on clearing our table. Still had full cups of coffee and juice. Returned after collecting more food and our table had been cleared. We were lucky no one sat in our seats. Overall a good stay and would definitely stay here again."
