"Beautiful location above the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very old and shabby, but clean. The bed and pillows were comfy, and I appreciated that they had white duvets instead of bed spreads. There is a fully stocked kitchen, so an extended stay is possible. The toiletries provided were nice quality. There isn’t an elevator for second floor access."

"For a beach hotel, the tub, tile floor, and visible carpets were free of sand. The hotel has some wear, such as on the baseboards, but the place is a great beach getaway! Currently, the beach access requires 131 outdoor stairs, but there are multiple platforms to stop and pause while others pass close by if needed. The little coffee maker brewed nice and hot for each cup we made upon return to the room. Beautiful ocean view. So glad to discover that the building we were in this time had an elevator!"

"Check in was great! However when we got back to the room after dinner, a divider for the balcony between rooms had been placed and it rattled and banged and even shook the wall (due to the wind) all night so we didn’t sleep much. We called the desk a couple times to find a solution, however maintenance had gone home for the evening. I spoke with the desk the next day and they made it right and got us into a new room that didn’t have the same kind of balcony divider, this was much sturdier and didn’t have any further issues. We were very happy with the new room even though it was a bit smaller. The grounds are just beautiful! I loved the ducks over by the pond on the property! This is definitely a stay for people who like to walk and take stairs! But those views are totally worth it!"
