"Overall it was excellent stay, though the reception and the concierge were most of the time occupied, most of the time, 1 person at the reception, and 1 or none at the concierge, so it was not so convenient to sort out a few minor issues. However, the room I stayed in had a really bad smell and noisy super loud ventilation, which unfortunately disrupted what could have been a peaceful and comfortable stay. "The hotel rooms are big. Although it's not in the latest decorations, the room and bathroom are clean and functional, bed was comfortable with clean linen, meets our needs. The location is excellent. The New Land hawker stalls are literally on the doorstep, we were able to take away the food and enjoy them in the comfort of the airconed hotel room. Many attractions in Georgetown are within walking distance. We will stay at Sunway if we visit Penang again."
