"This was a perfect place for a family to stay. The kitchen allowed us to save on food and the beds were amazing. Be forewarned, the basement unit is next to a karaoke bar and the unit is beneath a very busy tea shop. This was a problem for our family member that stayed in the back left bedroom but not an issue for anyone else. There is no cleaning included, so you will need to handle your own rubbish and recycling. Management was very responsive though when I identified some very minor repairs...

"This is a wonderful and hip hotel in a great part of Soho. The room was beautiful, the staff was very attentive. The location was amazing. The only thing I can say that's somewhat negative is that we missed having coffee and tea in the room. Most hotels will have these amenities but they were not available in the room."

"This hotel is in a fantastic location. The rooms are large - much more like a U.S. hotel which was great! However, the showers are very uncomfortable and difficult to use. There was no hand soap available. No one cleaned the room the first two nights of my stay. I ran out of towels and garbage was piling up but no one answered when I called downstairs. For the higher cost of this hotel, I would expect the room to be cleaned each night."

"It is a simplified hotel, there is no table, only one chair and a bed. The ventilation is poor, and only works during night, there is always bad smell during the day in the room. The staff is helpful to adjust it, but I could hardly feel any improvement. The breakfast is impressive, the kitchen staff adjusted their time to start service earlier according to our schedule."

"Construction started at 7:30am in the morning, next to our room. Drilling and banging. Had to move to another room the 2nd day. This room was above the bar, pretty noisy too.... Not what you expect for 5 star property."
